Lets get you prepared for your treatment

All new clients to Blake's Beauty are required to have a consultation 

Microneedling/Chemical Peel

Before booking this treatment you will need a consultation, once that's complete your therapist create a tailored preparation care plan to follow. This will be carried out for 2 weeks for treatment.

Avoid 2 weeks prior /post treatment:

IPL/Laser Hair Removal, waxing, threading depilatory creams, on the area being treated.

Other facial treatments (including chemical peel)

Any Injectables

Excessive sun exposure, fake tan

Retinal, tretinoin, hydroquinone, benzoyl peroxide or any other acne products .

Avoid 1 week prior/post treatment:

Exfoliating, Any active acids (including moisturisers/face wash with active ingredients.

Post Care

For the first 5 days avoid excessive sun exposure, hot showers, saunas, steam room, swimming, makeup and strenuous exercise.

For 5-7 days after the treatment avoid active ingredients, as long as the skin is not peeling or still sensitive. Before applying the please do a patch test.


Do not pick, pull or rub any loose skin.

Please insure you are using the correct skin care your therapist has tailored for you for the next 5-7 days.

FACIAL 
(EXCLUDING MCRONEEDLING/CHEMICAL PEEL)

Avoid 2 weeks prior/post to treatment:

Injectable treatments.
Excess sun exposure, fake tan
Threading, waxing, depilatory cream, IPL/Laser Hair Removal, other facials.

Avoid 5 days prior/post to treatment:

Active ingredients, including moisturiser/face wash or exfoliate.

​

Post care

Do not pick, pull or rub any loose skin.

48 hours no steam rooms, saunas, swimming, exercise, makeup.  

MASSAGE

Before

​

Stay hydrates drink water or herbal teas. Avoid regular tea, coffee, alcohol, or any other stimulants before your appointment.

Eat a light meal at least one hour in advance of your massage.

Take a shower before hand.

Wear comfortable clothing.

After

​

Continue to drink water.

Avoid exercise 24 hours.

Rest for the day, body might a little tender after, have a warm shower to ease the discomfort.
