The treatment begins with a detailed skin analysis to determine the most appropriate peel strength and formulation. Depending on your skin type and concerns, we may use alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) like glycolic or lactic acid, beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) like salicylic acid, or a blend of acids to target multiple concerns. These ingredients work by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to shed more effectively and stimulate new cell turnover. Once applied, the peel solution remains on the skin for a set period usually a few minutes while your therapist monitors for comfort and reactivity. You may feel a slight tingling or warming sensation as the acids penetrate the skin. After the peel is neutralised and removed, calming products and SPF are applied to soothe and protect your freshly revealed skin. Over the following days, light flaking or peeling may occur as the skin renews itself. This is a natural and necessary part of the process, and your therapist will provide full aftercare guidance to support optimal results. Cancellation Policy
• All first-time clients are required to complete a consultation before their first treatment. • Some advanced treatments may not be suitable for all skin types or conditions. A consultation is required to assess suitability before treatment. • For chemical peels, microneedling and dermaplaning, please confirm that you have not used active skincare ingredients such as retinol, AHAs or BHAs for at least 5 days before your appointment, unless otherwise advised during your consultation. • Patch testing is required for certain chemical peels and must be completed within the required timeframe before treatment. • A £20 non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment. •A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel an appointment. •A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment. •Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in your deposit being retained or a late cancellation fee being charged, where applicable. •No-shows may result in the applicable booking fee/deposit being retained and may affect future bookings. •If you have recently had injectable treatments, such as Botox or dermal fillers, please let us know before booking, as your treatment may need to be delayed. •By booking an advanced facial, you confirm that you have read and agree to the policy above.
