Chemical Peel
Service Description
A Chemical Peel is a powerful resurfacing treatment that uses active acids to exfoliate and regenerate the skin, revealing a smoother, brighter, and more youthful complexion. At Blake’s Beauty, we offer tailored chemical peels suited to your skin’s unique needs, whether you’re targeting acne, pigmentation, fine lines, or dullness. The treatment begins with a detailed skin analysis to determine the most appropriate peel strength and formulation. Depending on your skin type and concerns, we may use alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) like glycolic or lactic acid, beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) like salicylic acid, or a blend of acids to target multiple concerns. These ingredients work by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to shed more effectively and stimulate new cell turnover. Once applied, the peel solution remains on the skin for a set period usually a few minutes while your therapist monitors for comfort and reactivity. You may feel a slight tingling or warming sensation as the acids penetrate the skin. After the peel is neutralised and removed, calming products and SPF are applied to soothe and protect your freshly revealed skin. Over the following days, light flaking or peeling may occur as the skin renews itself. This is a natural and necessary part of the process, and your therapist will provide full aftercare guidance to support optimal results. Clients often notice visibly brighter skin, reduced texture, diminished acne scars, and a refined pore appearance after just one session. Chemical peels are suitable for most skin types, but some may require prep treatments beforehand to ensure safety and effectiveness. This advanced treatment is ideal for those seeking a non-invasive but transformative way to improve skin health and appearance. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or dramatic improvement, a professional peel can reset and rejuvenate your skin with science-backed results and minimal downtime.
